RTU-540P-NB

RTU-540P-NB is is an intelligent Active LTE NB-IoT Remote Terminal Unit with GPS. Within the high performance 32 bit CPU, RTU-540P-NB is suit for the hard industrial environment. When connecting with NB-DA Server or MQTT Broker, the user can also control the devices which connected to RTU-540P-NB from the remote control center. It features LTE NB-IoT module, 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 analog input, 1 RS-232, 1 RS-485 and SD interface. It can be used in M2M application fields to transfer the local I/O, GPS and Modbus device’s data via LTE NB-IoT by the defined period or DI/AI triggers. The local I/O and GPS data can also be stored in the SD card to become a remote data logger. It also supports Li-ion battery as another power source when the main power is failed temporarily. Therefore, RTU-540P-NB is an ideal solution for environmental monitoring, remote device management and vehicle monitoring system for M2M applications.

    Software Solutions

The NB-DA Server is a software with friendly graphic interface to collect data from ICP DAS IoT devices. It provides four interfaces—Modbus TCP, MQTT, Database, and RAM Disk (.csv file) to let user gets the data. Besides, user can use Modbus TCP command or publish MQTT message to control remote I/O. In the NB-DA Server, user can set multiple stations to collect data in different applications and every station can support 2000 devices online.

    Easy to establish NB-IoT applications
With simple web utility, RTU-540P-NB can easily set the connection with NB-DA Server or MQTT Broker. By transmitting data to NB-DA Server, user can easily get the data by using Modbus TCP, MQTT, Database, or .csv file (in RAM Disk). If user wants to simply subscribe data from MQTT Broker, RTU-540P-NB can also publish data to any MQTT Broker.

    Modbus RTU/TCP device connectivity
RTU-540P-NB is built-in Modbus RTU protocol has RS-485 interface. That can make any Modbus RTU devices connect to RTU-540P-NB.

    Simple remote local I/O control
With NB-DA Server, user can use Modbus TCP command or publish MQTT message to update the local DO values on the server, and then the RTU-540P-NB will update Modbus devices’ local DO values automatically. When connecting with MQTT Broker, user can publish local DO message to the topic that subscribe by RTU-540P-NB. If RTU-540P-NB receives the control message, it will reply an ACK message to let the user know its success.
